Project Financials
In this article, you'll learn how to add a financial view to your projects in Kroolo, your smart productivity powerhouse. This feature helps you keep track of your project's budget, time spent, and overall financial status.
1. Open the project
You can start with your project open. To add the financial view, click on the plus button.
2. Add Financial view
Scroll down and click on Add. Your financial view is now added next to the financials.
This view provides a quick overview of your project's budget, the time your team has spent, and the current financial status.
At the top of the financial view, you'll find information like margin, revenue, and budget. Below that, you'll see three columns.
The first column shows details related to time.
The second column displays budget details, including the total budget, how much of the budget is utilised, and the remaining budget.
The third column provides invoicing details.
Below these columns, there's a detailed graph showing billable time, total work time, budget used, and budget forecast. If you want to disable any of these items, simply click on the item you want to exclude.
For example, to disable billable time, click on it.
On the right side of the screen, you'll find a quick overview of your budget details, including the budget, start and end dates, budget currency, and total budget amount.
3. Choose a date and time
To change the period, click on Pick a date at the top of the screen.
From here, select the start date, then pick the end date and click on apply.
All project details will be updated automatically.
Next to the overview section, you'll find a section labelled time. Here, you can see how much time each team member spent and what tasks they worked on.
4. Detailed view of tasks
Click on a task to see a quick overview of all the tasks a team member has worked on.
Below this, you'll find a graph. Next, you'll see a section for expenses, where you can view all submitted and approved expenses.
5. Invoice overview
Next to expenses, you'll find invoices. Here, you can see the total amount, the invoice amounts, and the amount due.
And that's it! You've now added a financial view to your project.
By following these steps, you'll be able to easily track your project's finances.
