Track Time in Kroolo

Welcome to Kroolo, your smart productivity powerhouse. In this video, we will see how you can track time.

1. Access the Time Tracking Section

Open the Track Time section. This brings up your Timesheet, where you can see 👇

  • Task Name

  • Project Name

  • Dates and time spent on each task daily.

2. Adding a New Task to Your Timesheet

Click on Add Entry. A list of tasks from various projects will appear.

Check the box next to the task you want to add, then click Add Task. Your task will now appear in the timesheet.

3. Start and Stop the Timer

To track time, click the Play button next to your task. You’ll see a timer running at the top of your screen.

Work on your task, then when finished, return to this screen and press the Stop button. The time will automatically be added to your timesheet.

4. Manually Adjust Time

Click on the time displayed to edit it. Enter the correct hours (e.g., 2.5 for two and a half hours).

Alternatively, you can click the Clock button to manually set the time duration.

  • Set the Start and end times.

  • You can also start the timer from here. Simply click on this and the timer will start.

You can click on the clock sign again to stop it. If it's available, you can enable this. If it's not, you can disable it.

5. Add Notes

Click on the Note icon next to a task. Add any relevant details or comments about the task.

When done, click on 'Save'.

7. Review Time Details

Hover over a date to see a detailed preview of tracked time. View billable and non-billable hours as well as capacity. See the total hours spent per day on each task.

8. Change the View

Switch between views: daily, weekly, biweekly, or monthly.

For previous weeks, click on the “Previous Week” arrow to review past entries.

9. Filter Tasks

Click on the “Filter” button to sort tasks by project.

Use the search bar to find specific projects or tasks.

10. Delete an Entry

To remove a task, click on the delete button next to the entry.

And that’s it! With these steps, you can easily track, manage, and review your time in Kroolo.
