Gmail Automation
Welcome to this tutorial on how to set up automatic email updates for completed tasks in Kroolo. By the end of this guide, you'll have a system that sends you an email every time a task is completed.
1. Navigate to the Project section
Start by navigating to the project section and opening your project.
2. Click on Automation.
Open the Automation section.
3. Select Gmail
In the Browse section, select Gmail and choose the appropriate template.
4. Connect the email
Connect your email. If it isn't already connected, input the email address where you'd like to receive updates.
5. Enter the subject line
Enter your email's subject line.
6. Write the message of the email
You might want to keep it simple, like "Task Completed," and include the task name, description, due date, and any other relevant information.
7. Save the setup
Once you're satisfied with your email setup, click on save.
8. Test the setup
With your automation set up, let's test it out. Mark a task as done. Now, check your email. You should have received a new email from Kroolo stating that the task is completed.
