Receive Project Updates in Google Chats
Discover how to use Kroolo’s smart productivity features to receive updates on product changes directly in Google Chat. Follow these steps.
1. Access Profile Settings
Go to your profile in Kroolo.
2. Open Settings
Click on “Settings” in the profile menu.
3. Navigate to Integrations
Select “Integrations” from the settings menu.
4. Locate Google Chat Integration
In the list of available integrations, find “Google Chat.”
5. Connect Google Chat
Click on “Connect.”
6. Authorize the Connection
Follow the prompts to authorize the connection with Google Chat. After authorization, click Continue to grant access to all necessary services.
7. Select Notification Rules
Choose a notification rule based on the updates you want. For example, if you want notifications for task completion, select that rule.
You can select multiple rules, such as 👇
New task creation
Task status changes
Task priority changes
Task completion
8. Add Rule
After selecting a rule, click on Add Rule.
10. Choose Your Workspace
Select the workspace for notifications. For this guide, we'll choose Marketing.
11. Select the Project
Choose the project for notifications, like Marketing Automation.
12. Specify Google Space
Select the Google Chat space where you want to receive updates.
13. Name the Rule
Enter a name for this rule.
14. Finalize the Rule
Click on Add Rule to save your settings.
15. Return to Home Page
Go back to your Home Page in Kroolo.
16. Go to Projects
Open the relevant project.
17. Complete a task and mark it as done.
Complete a task by marking it as done.
18. Check Google Chat
Open Google Chats to see your notification.
You’ll see a notification similar to this: “Task 'Set Marketing Goals' in project 'Marketing Automation' has been completed.”
And that’s it! You’re now set up to receive real-time updates in Google Chats through Kroolo.
