Manage and schedule tasks effortlessly with Kroolo's intuitive timeline view

Welcome to Kroolo, the smart productivity powerhouse. This guide demonstrates how to manage and schedule tasks in the timeline view of projects.

1. Select Workspace

Begin by logging into Kroolo and selecting the appropriate workspace for your project.

2. Access the Project

Navigate to Projects from the workspace menu. Select the desired project you want to work on.

3. Open the Timeline View

Inside the project, select the timeline view to see all tasks and their scheduled dates.

4. View and Toggle Tasks

The timeline view shows a list of all tasks on the left, along with their corresponding dates and months. You can toggle the visibility of subtasks using the dropdown menu next to each main task.

5. Schedule Tasks

To schedule a task, simply pick a date and drag the task across the timeline. Release the pointer to confirm the scheduled task.

6. View Task Details

To view task details, click on any task in the timeline. A detailed task overview will appear in a pop-up.

You can close the pop-up by clicking anywhere outside of it.

7. Quick Task Info (Hover)

Hover over the β€˜I’ button next to a task to view a quick snippet of details such as the task ID and task name.

8. Modify Task Attributes

You can modify the status and priority of a task directly from the timeline.

Additionally, you can assign the task to a team member, open it in a new tab, or copy the task link.

9. Customize Your View

Hide the task list on the left by clicking on the collapse button, leaving just the scheduled task and date visible.

Use the dropdown to switch between daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly views for a more flexible timeline overview.

For a weekly overview, select the week from the dropdown.

10. Manage Unscheduled Tasks

Click on unscheduled tasks (located on the right side) to view any tasks that have not yet been scheduled.

To close this view, click on the close button next to the unscheduled tasks section.

11. Manage Task Dependencies

If a task depends on another, a link between the tasks will be displayed.

For example, clicking on a task will show any dependencies it may have in the dependencies section.

By following these steps, you can effectively schedule and manage tasks within the timeline view, ensuring smooth project progress in Kroolo.
