1. Open the project
Begin by clicking on the plus button to add a Gantt view to your project.
2. Toggle on the Gantt
Scroll down and click on Add next to Gantt.
Now, you'll see the Gantt view added to your project.
On the left, you'll find a list of tasks. On the right, you'll see a timeline view.
3. Perform actions
At the top, you'll find a menu. Here, you're able to expand all subtasks and collapse them using the upwards arrow button.
Zoom in on the timeline by clicking the plus button and zoom out using the minus button. You also have the option to zoom to fit using the appropriate button.
Navigate to the previous week by clicking on the backwards arrow. Similarly, move to the next week by clicking on the forward arrow.
Make changes to your tasks, such as altering start dates, end dates, and duration. Double-click on any elements to change dates in the timeline.
Note that your parent task will be highlighted in Blue, and your subtasks will be highlighted in grey.
4. Changes from the timeline
Make changes directly from the timeline. Expand the task duration or move tasks to different dates as needed.
5. Create dependencies
Create dependencies by clicking on the circle at the start of a task and linking it to another task.
6. Track and update task progress
Update task progress by dragging the slide. The task progress will be updated automatically.
If you're working with a subtask, the parent task progress will also update automatically. Highlight critical tasks by clicking on the critical path button.
And that's it! You've now learned how to add and manage projects in Kroolo using the Gantt view.
