Create forms from scratch

Welcome to this tutorial on Kroolo, your guide to creating a form from scratch. By the end of this article, you'll have a fully functional form ready to use.

1. Navigate to the Project Section

Start by navigating to the Project section.

2. Open your project.

Open the project you want to work create a form on.

3. Open the form section

Proceed to the Form section.

If it's not enabled, click on the plus button to activate it. Once activated, you'll see three options for creating a form: starting from scratch, using a template, or starting with AI. We're going to create a form from scratch.

4. Update the logo

Let's say we're creating a Contact Us form. Here, you're able to change the logo.

Below the logo, enter a form description.

5. Enter description

Enter your description.

Now, it's time to add the necessary fields by dragging and dropping them into place. For our Contact Us form, we'll need a name field, an email field, and a message field.

6. Add titles to your fields

Change the titles of your fields.

Mark the name field as required.

7. Email field

Type in the email field.

Mark this field as required as well.

8. Update the Message Field

Change the title of the message field.

Enter your description for the message field.

Mark this field as required too. If you need to add more fields, you can select them from the available options.

For additional fields, click on the plus button. Here, you'll find all the necessary fields. On the right, you have the option to change the form background color and the Submit button color. You also have the option to enable or disable Captcha and Kroolo branding. If you want to limit the number of responses, enable this toggle and enter the number of responses you want to receive.

9. Schedule a date

Schedule a close date for the form by enabling the toggle. Click on Add Close date, select a date from the calendar, and hit Apply.

10. Publish the Form

Once your form is ready, click on Publish.

Your form is now published! Copy the link and share it with your customers.

11. Preview the form

Click on Preview to check how your form looks.

12. Check responses

Go to the Responses section to check all the responses from your customers.

And that's it! You've successfully created a form from scratch.
