Manage Channels in Kroolo
Explore the smart productivity powerhouse, Kroolo, and learn how to manage channels effectively.
1. Navigating to the Channel Section
Go to the Channels section from the main dashboard. You'll see a list of all existing channels displayed here.
2. Creating a New Channel
There are two ways to create a new channel π
π Option 1: Scroll to the bottom of the channel list and click on the Create Channel button.
Alternatively,
π Option 2: Alternatively, click on the Create Channel option at the top-right corner.
Once a new channel is created, it will appear in the list with the total number of channels visible.
3. Making a Channel Favorite
Select any channel from the list and click the star icon to mark it as a favorite.
4. Managing Public and Private Channels
Toggle between making a channel public or private by clicking the switch next to the channel.
The owner of the channel will be displayed in this view.
5. Searching for Channels
Use the Search bar to find a specific channel.
Simply type the name of the channel, and it will appear in the list.
6. Additional Channel Options
Click on the three dots (...) next to any channel for more options.
Youβll see five different options to manage channels:
Option 1: Edit Channel
Click Edit Channel to change the icon color, channel name, description, and owner. You can also add or remove members or set the channel as public or private.
Once you've made the changes, click Close to save them.
Option 2: Add Members
Click the three dots (...) again and select Add Members.
From here, you can add or remove members from the channel.
Option 3: Copy Link
Use the Copy Link option to share the channel link with your team members for quick access.
Option 4: Archive Channel
Click Archive Channel to archive a channel.
Archived channels will display a tag next to their name.
Option 5: Delete Channel
Select the Delete Channel option to permanently delete the channel.
By following these steps, you can efficiently manage all your channels in Kroolo, ensuring streamlined communication and organization.
