Create Epics in Sprints

Use epics to divide big projects into manageable tasks, link sub-tasks to main tasks, and allocate resources effectively.

This tutorial will guide you through the process of creating epics in sprints using Kroolo, designed for users of all levels. Here's what you need to doπŸ‘‡

1. Navigating to the Project Section

Start by navigating to the "Projects" section on the left-hand side.

2. Select the Desired Project

Click on the project name to open it.

3. View Sprints and Epics

On the next screen, you'll see a list of all sprints and the epics associated with them.

πŸ’‘An epic is like a big, broad goal that you want to achieve. It's too large to complete all at once, so you break it down into smaller tasks

Lets assume in the sprint section we have a task, email automation, which involves multiple steps.

4. List Sub-Tasks in the Epic Section

Navigate to the epic section.

Add a new sub-task related to the epic, such as "get the new email templates ready," under the epic "email automation."

5. Save the Task

Click on "save" to save the newly added sub-task.

6. Link the New Task to the Main Task

Link this new sub-task back to the main task in the sprint section, "email automation," to create a connection between the tasks.

7. Adjust Sprint Details

Click on the three dots to access additional options & modify the start date, end date, phase, and priority as needed.

Check the estimated efforts displayed in the sprint section.

This process outlines how to add and link epics to main tasks within sprints, enhancing productivity with Kroolo, the smart productivity powerhouse.
