Connect Slack with ES
In this tutorial, you'll learn how to connect Slack with Enterprise Search.
1. Click on Knowledge
Begin by clicking on "Knowledge". You'll see a list of all available apps. Find and click on Slack.
2. Start Connecting Slack
Click on Connect. This action will prompt you to log into your Slack workspace and authorise the connection.
Click on Continue. You'll now have the option to select your workspaces.
After selecting your workspaces, scroll down and click "Allow." You'll see a message indicating a successful connection.
Click on Continue. The status will change from 'Connect' to 'Connected Now'.
3. Configure connection
Configure your connection, and click on the three dots.
Click on Configure. You'll see a list of all the available channels. You can select individual channels or all channels.
Click on Sync to sync all the selected channels. You'll see a sync progress bar and details about the total channels synced, sync errors, and channels not synced.
For additional options, click on the three dots. Here, you can check the view permissions and open the channel in Slack.
To go back, click on the arrow.
And that's it! You've successfully connected Slack with Enterprise Search.
