Create Custom Agents in Enterprise Search
Custom agents in Enterprise Search help automate responses, handle tasks, and streamline workflows tailored to your team’s needs. Follow these steps to create, customise, and put a new AI agent to work for you.
1. Start creating Agents
Go to the AI Agent section in Enterprise Search. Review existing agents or scroll to the bottom and select Create Agent.
2. Set up your agent profile.
Please start by selecting or changing the agent’s icon to visually differentiate it from others.
Enter the agent’s name to easily identify it in your workspace.
Add a brief description that explains your agent’s purpose.
Provide clear instructions to guide how the agent responds and acts.
3. Choose the LLM
Choose the default fast model for responsive performance, or keep the suggested option.
Select the default base model—for example, ChatGPT 4.1. Set the fallback model to ensure the agent always has a backup.
Pick the agent’s language for consistent communication.
4. Set access control.
Make the agent public for everyone or private for select users.
Click Create Agent to finish.
Customising Agent Tools and Sharing
Agents can access specific tools and be shared with certain people on your team.
1. Head to the tools section of your agent.
Enable the tools you want this agent to access, such as Google Calendar.
2. Assign or remove actions
Click actions to assign or remove actions for your agent, depending on your requirements.
3. Share the agent
In the share section, choose to share the agent with all members or only specific team members.
Using Your Custom Agent
1. Move to the Chat section.
Select your newly created agent from the list.
Type your prompt in the chat field and press send.
The agent responds with answers, suggestions, or completed tasks. For example, you might get multiple subject lines ready to use.
2. Export the outputs
Copy the output, or click export to save results as a PDF or markdown file.
Check out the tasks section for a detailed list of what the agent did to deliver your result.
